After completing a series of master classes at Kalakshetra during June and July,Bragha departed from Chennai on August 1st, 2006. The 10 weeks tour of Master Classes, Workshops. Lecture Demonstrations and Performances has been sponsored and organised by the Rangoli Foundation of Los Angeles. First week Chicago, followed by Philadelphia, then over to various cities in California until returning again to Chennai on October 15, 2006.
There has been a lot of interest in this trip and every date fully booked. It promises to the first of further visits to USA. There are also requests for Bragha to take her work over to Europe and the UK. Further announcements will be made as the dates firm up.
